The original, and the one that moves fastest. A medium fryer-size chicken foot — amber-to-chestnut scales, four curled talons, cured until the skin sets like leather — holds a genuine pale-gold corncob bowl in its grip. The cob smokes cool and sweet from the first light and cakes in fast, so break-in is forgiving even if this is your first pipe. The talon set on every foot sits differently, so the pipe leans its own way when you stand it up.
